so this morning I was deciding which Watch to wear. I have a couple of omegas (speedy and Seamaster), a Rolex sub and a few tissot. My favourite is my Seamaster, not the dearest but just a classic that I love. What's yours?
Favorite is my beloved Seiko 6309-7049. It's been flying for 30 years. Purchased it new in 1987 at the NAS Whiting Field Navy Exchange during U.S. Navy primary pilot training in the T-34C...

I can't think of cooler background to any watch picture than all of those fakkin buttons, dials, lights and levers.... that most of us wouldn't have a clue what to do with!
I've watched those American films where the pilot konks out midflight and somebody jumps in the cockpit while Air Traffic Control talks them down safely. But I can assure you. If I was in that plane with you and you passed out we would both be dead before you woke up! 😁
I'm fickle about my favourites. Every time I open a watch roll or a carry case, it takes me a minute or so to select a favourite for the day. Then I take off a favourite, and put on another one. I will say that the one I choose to wear most often when I make a change, is this one. It's been shown here before. It's my mid-50s caliber 355, bumper automatic, date at 6:00 Omega Seamaster. This one reposed in pieces in a box of parts watches for well over 40 years, until I discovered it in 2015, and resurrected it. And with the help of OB member Tritium from Madrid, Spain who supplied me with an NOS case, I am now able to wear it.
