No points for creativity on this one, but if I had to pick I'd say Rolex - a 6264 on its bracelet to be specific.

I personally like watches from the late 40s through the early 70s and there are so many cool brands out there (Eterna-Matic, Zenith, Tissot, Tudor, Marvin, Longines, Certina, Lemania, Universal Geneve, Brietling, Stowa, just to name a few). Looking forward to discovering even more!馃憤

Vintage: Heuer takes a slight edge over Universal Geneve, for me.

Modern: I think FP Journe is the most exciting modern watchmaker. Everything they produce is a work of art, in my eyes. I'll never own one simply due to the price bracket (maybe shouldn't say never, but most likely won't), but they're my favorite to ogle.

My current collection doesnt have any truly high end watches, PP, VC etc so i am limited in response as i expect one day ill start exploring that sector which jas truly magnificent pieces. I so have a JLC but it is not one of the crown jewels. Of course i love IWC and other mid level brands but based on wear and sheer amount of watches Rolex takes the lead. They are simple, durable well design and the best overall watch for my koney i can afford to collect. Of course i could seel some of them and buy a high end piece or two, but ill wait until the right time

The back-catalogue of Omega is so large that it covers almost all bases, so to me it doesn't feel like a second manufacturer would need to have models that fill specific gaps. So I would be tempted to take a smaller company with lines that I find very appealing. That would probably be Blancpain for the Fifty Fathoms (1950s-70s) and an Air Command.

Otherwise I find vintage military and sports models from IWC the most appealing (Mark IX to XI, B-Uhr, WWW, Aquatimer 812, Ocean Bund, etc). Heuer is also great but quite narrow as I only really gel with the Carreras and Autavias.

Mrs. Jones and I walked into a Jaeger-Lecoultre botique recently and we each tried on several watches. There wasn't much that got Mrs.Jones excited for herself, but we both agreed that this really worked for me. Someday....

I like most of the watches made by Breguet, Urwerk, Patek, Roger Dubuis, Doxa. Of Panerai, Rolex, and IWC, I really only like their dive watches with one or two exceptions. Of smaller brands I like Crepas, Eterna, MB&F, Aquadive.

Hate to say but it's Rolex. Got the heritage, quality, and variety. Iconic sports watches like the sub and Explorer, gorgeous vintage pieces, goes with everything daydate's, and dressy underappreciated Cellini's. Covers the entires spectrum

same here - for nearly the same reasons ... if carefully chosen, they have the widest range of "anytime-everywhere" watches of all brands.

I'd actually be lurking at Z茅nith.
Also HYT have done some very interesting models IMHO.
AkriviA for the state of art timepieces.

thought you might have one or two.... you know, for an anvil, or a really thick shim under a table leg, they're really quite good for that.

IWC for me too. I want to add a 3714, Ingenuier and Pilot to my collection in the future.
