It's a tough question because there are so many that I like, but if push came to shove I'd choose IWC. Mostly pre 1990's. Fantastic movements, great design.
Unfortunately, for me, I didn't buy when their prices were rock bottom a few years ago or I'd be showing a few more.

I like JLC (best value for the dollar frankly), RGM (for the sheer force of will and vision it has taken to get their business established in the USA and for some their unique designs), VC & AL&S (because they are just perfect), Rolex (Respect for their brand stewardship and quality), Victorinox (who don't try to be something they are not) and Seiko (Also great value for money and their GS/Credor initiative). Vintage: UG, Gallet, Angelus, Doxa....
