What's with the whole "hand watch" thing online?

I also wear it pretty high up my wrist but that's just because my wrist bone is weird. I like it this way for two reasons:

1. I can wash my hands or dishes and not worry about my watch getting wet.
2. The crown doesn't dig into my hand when I bend my wrist.

This has been talked about before here - IMO you are wearing it right where it should be. I realize that some people don't have wrist/forearm shapes to allow that though.

It would bug the hell out of me to have it rubbing on the back of my hand all the time...

I got 3/4 tat sleeves so I could wear my watch up where I like it. makes a good transition.

If it’s not about comfort it’s just about fashion. I say go ahead and freak out the squares. F ‘em if they can’t take a joke.

Looks fine to me.

"Bond surveyed his weapons. They were only his hands and feet, his Gillette razor and his wrist-watch, a heavy Rolex Oyster Perpetual on an expanding metal bracelet. Used properly, these could be turned into most effective knuckledusters."

I know someone here in the forum who wears them OVER his socks! 🤣
Okay, I'll bite... what color socks? Are sandals involved? ;P

You can ask @Mad Dog if her ever wears sandals.

Which, speaking of @Mad Dog, his love for Dunkin has taken over his profile 😎 (I did not add the figure, you can see it for yourself on his profile)

No no, not only.... but military, there are a few civil wrists as well...
and allways the watch at the right position at the wrist.
And as a gentleman allways a decent business shirt and no tattoos visible.

Oh golly! Is this another AI trigger issue?

My guess is that if it's your wrist and your watch you can pretty well do what you like including wearing it "dial down, buckle up!.

That's a lot of fisting!

I swear some people seem to have the strongest opinions on the most trivial of things.

Interestingly I only see this debate with metal bracelets. I have straps that are only one hole difference between too lose and too tight and I will always wear them on the looser side, but I don’t see anyone whining about a loose strap.

And if this bothers you, don’t look up how the astronauts actually wore their watches in space.
