    hi guys, please help again... came across this 14k Constellation the dial looks untouched, in fact the whole watch does I know people look after their possessions but still is this too good to be true?

    Also I’m not sure that the Calibre matches the model, does anyone know where I can find out this info?

    It's gold capped. Not pure gold. Don't pay pure gold money for this...

    Looks to be the correct caliber for the watch. Condition of the watch is OK. Looks like the dial is in great shape but the gold cap isn't perfect. Not too good to be true.

    Ok thanks, would you where to find the gold stamp if it’s gold cap? Or do gold cap don’t have markings?

    I see there’s three types of gold on a watch? I.e capped, plated and filled...

    To me it looks like the case is super polished - lugs should be much sharper.

    I don’t think super polished - gold capped watches are always slightly less well defined than SS or solid gold - but it certainly has seen a polish.
    Slightly odd that there are no case back shots.
    But that dial....::love::

    Also for me, in addition to looking at the lugs for how polished it is you can tell a lot by looking at the stars on the back.

    Does any know where else I can look to buy omega watches? Apart from eBay and Chrono? Not sure if I want to buy from auctions as my knowledge isn’t quite there nor can I take it back if I don’t like it?
