I previously said nothing was on my wish list, or radar, for 2020, but with the slight 'correction' in the world equity markets the last week due mainly to the Coronavirus I wonder how many folks have maybe put their plans on a temporary pause? The Dow, S&P and NASDAQ are now all in correction mode, i.e., more than 10% off their highs, and this occurring just in the last handful of trading days. Trillions wiped off people's wealth.

I'm hoping to pick up a Speedmaster Professional this year (coming from an Apple watch). Still trying to decide whether to go ahead and bite the bullet on the current model or wait and see if the rumored movement update occurs this year.

Wait for the 3861 version. It will cost a little more, but the co-axial movement is worth it.

I think I'm going to pick up a 44.25mm racing dial. I'm still debating between the white and black, and I know I'll be distracted if I come across a deal on a GSOTM or a Moonphase.

Like millions of others, the Speedy Professional is the watch that made me interested in watches in the first place. I've come sooo close to buying one on multiple occasions and each time I've ended up buying a Tudor instead. The moonwatch, to my disappointment, never really grabbed me on the wrist. Part of me wonders if I built it up too much in mind in the 10-15 year period from when I first fell in love as a poor 20 year old until I was in a position to buy nice watches. I recently tried some of the Master Co-Axial models and really appreciate their modernity and technical chops.

For Omega to make the PO with a sub-13mm case thickness. Oh, and in a GMT version.

To jump in a time machine and go back to the day (mid nineties) my boss offered me a vintage Submariner 5513 for $500. I had the money but just didn't see it as a priority. I wasn't a collector then. FU*%^#!!! Now off to search Amazon for that time machine.

I was at a German omega boutique today.
The guy told me that the new one is about 7.000,-€ in Germany. I think it's a big price increase and more I thought. We will see;-)

Out of curiosity, what is retail price in Euros for the current model? Tried to check on omegawatches.de but it keeps reverting to dollars.

4.600,- EUR for the Hesalite and 5.400,- EUR for Sapphire (both on Steel Bracelet). And Sales Tax (19% MwSt) is - as always in Germany - included in the price.

There are so many great watches to choose from, I have my eye on a ND Sub, a Pepsi, a Seamaster with Sedna Gold, an orange PO, but also I want to explore other brands like Longines, Hamilton, Tudor and Oris to see what they offer.

So in answer to the question I am going to keep my options open and buy a watch that hits the spot irrespective of brand, there's no rush there is plenty of choice.

I was just saying the same thing in another thread. At the moment, I have my eye on the SBGA415 (the winter within the seasons collection). However, the new GS movements are intriguing. I imagine they will make some more new models with the updated movement soon. Whoever decided to introduce the new movement in a massive 47mm diver is nuts...

Hi All!

First time poster. Glad to be here!

I’d love my 2500 PO I stupidly sold last year. It had a lot of sentimental attachment, I’ve owned a 2500 since 2008 and realise (since selling!) it’s probably the perfect tool watch. Still in touch with the buyer and hoping he may sell it back if something nice Tudor wise comes up in the announcements around Baselworld time... fingers crossed.

Also on the 321 wait list.
