I'm looking for a 1980s Speedmaster to complete my speedy from each decade collection. Unfortunately, the 80s has limited speedy choices compared to other decades. So at this point looking at a moonphase from this era. Or possibly a speedy with gold tones from the 80s.

Would also like to buy a -66CB

Aside from one of the above, im pretty much over and out on buying watches for 2017 and beyond.

Omega Chrono Quartz
1975 Apollo Soyuz Speedy
25th Anniversary Apollo Soyuz Speedy
35th Anniversary Apollo XI Speedy
Rolex Submariner "Hulk" (an itch at some point I have to scratch)
2998-x Speedmaster
JB Champion Bracelet

I have a lots more "wish list" items, but the above is already sufficiently unrealistic.

Hm good question... actively searching for:

Rolex Milgauss GV Blue Dial
Rolex Yachtmaster I Blue Dial
Omega Speedmaster Gemini IV
(I realy have an Itch for a blue Dial watch that needs to be scratched.)

JLC Master Control in SS.

Will I be able to afford all of them? Nope.
Will I probably spend the money during the hunt for other watches and stuff... yes.

New, I'd like to at least try on the TAG Heuer Monza and Autavia reeditions; still want a Seamaster 300 on the Omega NATO; still want a DSOTM.

Vintage, not hunting anything in particular but we'll see what comes up for sale...

Realistically likely nothing though as living in the Bay Area is disgustingly expensive and what disposable income I have will be spent on trips back to New York to see my friends and family .

Another 60's Speedy or two.
Heuer 2447N or 3647N
Something new. Either the new Explorer 1, SM300 or perhaps a new Railmaster will appear?!
Seamaster 600 technic dial

Disclaimer: I'll bet no more than 2 of the above actually come in, but several others will make a surprise appearance!

The Zenith of funds permit, perhaps the Longines. Need to get a 1861 for the panda dial and hands I already own.

I thought San Diego was expensive, but SF is in a whole different ball park...so instead we visit from time to time as the wife loves China Town. Hopefully your trips to NY aren't during this time of year 😉...too cold, I'm still thawing out from living in Chicago my whole life.

Only one on the list - the new Daytona with ceramic bezel. Aside from going up into another price tier (VC PP AP), I can't think of one I want that I don't have.

Dress watch - vintage inherited Rolex 1003 - check
Diver - Electric Blue - check
Chronograph - Polaris Titane Auto - check
Dual timer - Magrette - check
Beaters - Seiko 5, Orient Mako etc. - check

If funds permit, something 24hr (ish) would be next. Glycine Airman in purist form would do, but in no rush 😉

As a surprise graduation gift. I'm very proud of her!
-Already put my AD on notice that I'm first in line for Baselworld Speedy LE release (I'm hoping it doesn't suck!)

Frankly I have found very little here that would make me want to come back and visit once I find a job elsewhere. The only thing I don't miss about New York is the weather, and even then it's still a bit chilly here; everything (and I mean everything ) else I miss every minute of every day.

Actually looking into moving to San Diego, as it happens. I expect I will be equally bored, but at least the weather will be fantastic year-round.

I think if you're heart is truly in another city it will be difficult to enjoy where you are. Friends and family do really make a difference, which is why I left Chicago in the first place...to be closer to family here in San Diego. Don't get me wrong, SD is nice (although the weather has been feeling more life SF lately) but if my family lived in Alaska I would probably end up moving there in the end. If you do end up moving to SD, let me know if you have any questions I'd be more than happy to help.

There are several us that live in San Diego. Beer is on me when you get here.
