I love those gold capped cases. Would love to get one but I had couple other 2 tone watches before and as much as I love them, they just look to dressy for me.. I like to stick with stainless, plus it's cheaper

Good luck with the project. I had a service done on mine last year, and I’m loving it.

All the support from everyone has inspired be to save it.. I think the movement is gonna be alright after tinkering a little more with it.. Need to take it to my watchmaker, but first I wanna be able to buy everything it needs.. Dial and hands etc...

Don't forget your watchmaker might have those parts and has sources you don't. Collaborate!

They are great watches. I bought one for my wife and had Omega do the redialing as well as service the movement. She loves it and wears it in way that gives watch collectors nightmares (that's her riding a horse with the seamaster)

Omega does a nice job of making a watch look new, most of the time! And, this bothers me not. Watches were meant to be worn, not gazed at lovely and then locked back in a vault.

My apologies if you gaze lovingly as well as wear them. 😀

I agree with skunk.. Watches are made to be worn.. If I'm gonna any kinda money fixing it I'm sure as hell gonna enjoy it and where it every day from going to a nice restaurant, to working on my car

I don't know if they have this one, but omega has a surprising number of NOS service dials and hands available. Ask a watchmaker with a parts account to check for you.
