What to do?

Hi all. New member here and am looking for some advice please. I have an old Seamaster and not sure what to do. The expandable bracelet is comfortable to wear but I don’t think it does the watch much justice? The watch was my uncles and I have worn it like this for years now, but having seen the amazing watches on here, I think I need to bring it up to date a bit. Any advice on what I should do? Get a brown leather strap, or a black one, or just sell the watch? It’s a lovely watch and maybe a new strap will make me love it again.
Many thanks and sorry to ramble on my first post.

I think I would go for a dark brown leather strap perhaps.
Sell it? No! 😀

I’d try to source a BoR bracelet for it, its a nice Seamaster with a very sharp case, lovely watch but those twist-o-flex bracelets do damage lugs over time.

Definitely keep it. Why not one black and one brown strap? It's good to have options.

Definite keeper.
Here’s how a similar one looks with BOR and black leather.

Can dress it up a little with a bl@ck strap or casual with a brown or tan. Beads of rice bracelet as shown, but getting up in price and avoid ones stretched out.

Strange that it's so hard to see the printing, I would have assumed this was a galvanic dial, so the printing should not have been washed off.
