What Ref. was the very first Seamaster?

According to Omega and Wikipedia the Seamaster was introduced in 1948 but when I check the Omega Data base and filter by ‘Seamaster’ (there doesn't seem to be a way to filter by date) the earliest examples I can find are from 1949... perhaps I´m not looking hard enough...

Question 1. What Ref. and Caliber was the very first Seamaster?
Question 2. Is the Omega OT 2518 from 1949 the first time the Seamaster logo was printed on a dial?
