This was my Omega grail after missing out on the initial issue , but after a two year wait I managed to buy one. And for me it was worth the waiting time , I smile to myself every time I wear it .

The Snoopy version from post #1 is awesome.
I should have pulled the trigger when it was realeased in 2015. At that time i was not mentally ready to spend that money for a watch - even if less than a year later i bought the 2016 CK2988...
Now the white snoopy is out of my reach forever ...

I was at Istanbul airport on Monday. I had a few hours to kill and popped into the Omega boutique. I got talking to the salesman and he let me try on a titanium Ploprof. It has been my grail watch for a long time, but trying it on has only made me want it more.

The only thing that stopped me buying it there and then, is the possibility of an ST3 being released. I have the ST1 and ST2 and would like at least to be in the running to get the 3 if it is released.

My grail Omega doesn't exist yet, but it would be the Aqua Terra Worldtimer in titanium, and preferably without the laser-ablated map motif, but with the city disc. An updated GoodPlanet AT essentially.
I assume you’ve acquired the titanium Worldtimer, but I have one for sale if not! Fresh set from August at roughly 30% below MSRP 😉

Grail to me is something I don't have (yet). I'm currently obsessed with triple date moonphase. This 2471 from Omega Enthusiast is my grail. Unfortunately it's not for sale. The search continues...

Just take your time - nice examples pop up once in a while. After u dig deeper in the tdmp u can also easily identify redials - which make a ridiculous high %age of the watches offered.
But be aware good examples have a strong competition as some people really hunt for them - e.g. @cristos71

I also got hooked by the Omega tdmps a few years ago.

They have been my grail watches and still are and I am lucky having found some nice examples which come very close to a real grail watch - they are not in perfect condition and that's why not real grail watch. Anyhow as they are not in perfect condition I am happy to wear.
If it would be a NOS I would avoid to wear because of danger to receive any small scratch or dent - so I feel like I have more enjoyment with a not NOS watch... Here are some pictures of my favorite examples:

But I assume you all know how it goes with watches...

So many things to explore and lately got hooked with the (omega) 33.3 caliber and in general watches with that style with more than 35mm diameter from the 30s/40s.
One grail to be mentioned here is the Omega multiscale ck2077 in waterproof case (with round pushers) and 38mm diameter - actually for sale in Zurich for a very high price :

I just like how perfect the dial, the scales, the colour, the case and pushers add up. Just looks like a perfect composition of watch making.

For sure the Omega above or with another dial variation with a waterproof case will be a "dream" grail watch.

Easy…….a gold flightmaster……..totally unobtainable.
As there is no danger of getting one, I’ll always have something to aspire to.

The Globemaster, doesnt have to be a white dial or gold, but why not I am just dreaming.
Because its a GADA watch, dressy with 100 m WR and its beautiful.

The 41mm 300m heritage diver in full platinum. My sense is that they’re actually still producing this several-year-old LE—they’ve been slow to sell—so it’s not difficult to get in terms of waitlists or anything: you can add one to your cart at Omega’s website right now. But I’d never pay more than half retail for it, which means preowned. As best I can tell there’s only one for sale in the world right now (in Japan) and the price is too high, esp with import costs. This is probably a grail I’ll never obtain.

It's a very heavy watch. I tried it on in a boutique 2 years ago. Impressive material. Made my full steel Ploprof feel like a lightweight. it's still there in the boutique. But I agree especially after price hike after price hike, don't buy this watch at retail.

I’ve never actually tried it on, but the heft is one of the things that draws me to it. I routinely wear a 272g watch and you do get used to it. But at 320g this one is getting near 3/4ths of a pound. That’s got to be an experience.

Not exactly a traditional "grail", but an Omega I absolutely adore but will probably never buy because it would compete too much with my beloved Moonwatch...

If I had unlimited funds to just frivolously spend on watches, I'd totally get this one:
