To clarify, I'm not asking for anyone's grail watch. Truthfully, the "Grail Watch" doesn't really exist, IME. Once you have obtained it, you find another grail, and the march goes on. It's more like, "could you be happy with just a single watch? If so, what is it?"

·Easy. The 2012-2017 version of the SMPc. It’s the perfect size at 41mm, water resistant to 300 meters, sports a beautifully sculpted case with a stunning hippocampus medallion on the case back, a ceramic bezel, a glossy black (or blue) dial with applied logo and hour markers and a date window with a quickset feature, and gorgeous lume. It’s powered by Omega’s co-axial caliber 2500d which is a proven, reliable and accurate workhorse with a relatively slim profile. Looks great with everything from jeans and a t-shirt to a tuxedo. Terrific watch.

·Probably the vacheron below, but any of these would be amazing. yellow/rose gold vacheron would be sick, but maybe the white metal would be easier to wear.
To be honest though I don't necessarily think it would be bad wearing a watch on a leather band as a daily wearer. 99% of the population happily do this anyway, and you can just replace your leather straps if they get worn out more quickly.
I understand the steel bracelet -> sports watch association for durability and ruggedness, but before getting into watches I always associated steel rolexes as being fairly formal, rather than casual, in look. I'd be pretty happy wearing a lange/patek perpetual chrono on the daily I think just taking it off around swimming and exercise, which I do with my watches already anyway. I think they also look great casually with tee and jeans.

·Before you decide, tell me - could you even be a One Watch Guy (or One Watch Girl)?
If so, what would be your one watch collection? Or if you are already there, what IS your one watch collection? Is this one watch already in your multi-watch collection? If it is, why do you have the others?
I am really curious what one watch could do it for you. I sometimes dream about being a one watch guy, but I know my love of variety in this hobby wouldn't allow it.
I'll go first. If I had to reduce to a single watch, it would be the PO 39.5 I got last month. I have been chasing other, cheaper PO substitutes for several years now, and I finally said "screw it" and bought the ultimate watch, and it's amazing. However, I wouldn't want to dump the other 17, so I guess I am a slave to my desire for options.
How about you? Are you also a watch hoarder, or could you go full Marie Kondo and make the ultimate simplification of your life?
Can ONE of anything be considered a COLLECTION?
PS I resent seeing the name Marie Kondo anywhere on these forums. Similar to mentioning Satan in a Baptist Church

It has the time, a chrono and 12 hour bezel making it a two time zone watch , and a rotating bezel could time a dive and the watch has 100 ft of water resistance. I could live with this I think.

I didnt buy it though as it is quite expensive, there are other watches i would probably prefer more at this price point and lately i am a bit tired of all the reissues. But it is surely a good looking watch.
