I believe that the cal 1020 is about 28mm in diameter, which makes me think the case is 33-34mm.

Well the standard sizes for vintage dress watches for men are around 34-36mm.

It seems you're considering pieces at a sub $200 price point, and well the examples that you've provided are not exactly desirable. If you really do like the designs by all means go ahead but if not you should keep looking and researching.
