My sister in law found this in her father in law's dresser after his death. Can any of you experts here give me some info on this? Like is it a Seamaster or a Constellation (and was it common not to be labeled on the dial?). Approximate year? And approximate value once it is serviced? Thanks

Maybe not. Tuerler is a Jewellery shop chain. In this case the seller of this watch. As always: all answers are inside your case back.

Even if everything it's ok inside do not expect to a great value..i estimated to about 200-250 Euro.

German sold watch via Turler a high end jeweler.

Most likely higher then 14k and worth much more then 250 Euro…

The model number is on the inside of the caseback and the serial on the movement will give a date range.

value will depend highly on gold content of the case. Pictures of the back of the watch will help if you cannot get it open without damaging it ( or go to a good watchmaker).

It's difficult to come with a really accurate assessment, but it looks like a small men's Omega with the dealer name Türler on it. Türler has outlets a lot of places, so could have been bought in Austria, Switzerland, Germany...

Value-wise it is necessary to know if it solid or plated gold. It will have little value above gold price + spares cost, as it would appear that the dial has been refinished at some point. Between €150 and €700 would be my guess.

Thanks for the input. I believe that it is 14 k gold and not plated due to what I have heard about the nature of the owner of it.
There is an Omega store in King of Prussia Pennsylvania which is only an hour away from me and I will get the back opened up there and get more information. Out of curiosity would anyone guess if it looks more like a Seamaster or a Constellation?

It is neither a Seamaster nor a Constellation. That might be apparent from the back side. Judging by the apparent over-fill of the small minute markers, the dial appears to have been repainted at some point in the past, probably to restore some damage that occurred. If the case is indeed gold, the value is mostly in the gold itself, and will not change much with servicing.

There’s no need to drive to an Omega store to have it opened. In fact not all ADs will do this.

A local watchmaker should be able to open the back for you.

Note the absence of "Swiss" at the bottom of the dial suggesting a redial. Occasionally the Swiss can be partly hidden by the crystal/rehaut, but that's very rare on a vintage Omega.
