Does anyone have any idea what this little arrow thingie is on this Omega and if the lumed numbers are original? I've not seen the arrow on an Omega before and the numbers look a bit sloppy!

It's a variant of a pheon, a British military symbol. It appears on some issued British military watches, including Omegas. But even from the partial photo, I suspect that the dial is not original. If you show more photos, we can be more definitive.

The guy said the dial was original but his watchmakers redid the lume. It's not expensive though.

If the dial seems legitimate I'll send it away to have the shitty lume removed.

What Dan was saying is that it’s not only a lume issue, the entire dial seems to be (at minimum) a reprinted dial, which in the watch community means that 99% of this watch’s value is lost.

If you want to double check have someone open the caseback and do a Google search of the number inside the caseback, you’ll see how the watch should look like, most likely you won’t find any other watch with this same dial.

How the heck did they do that bad of a job repainting the minute markers on the train tracks? That dial is 100% absolutely, clearly, and terribly repainted. DID they forget they were repainting it 1/2 way through and not look at the other side 😁

(note that the tracks touch both sides on the top, but not the bottom!)
