What is this case part to 566.053?

Hi all-

The below two aren't my pictures, but are my watches. The Salmon dial isn't here yet, but the blue is.

I believe the blue is MOST of a watch (missing a crystal obviously, but also something else...), but it seems to be missing a piece, which almost looks red in the pictures of the salmon, that goes between the movement and the case-liner-thing. The case liner fits perfectly in the 'case' part, but the case back and the movement/etc itself is way smaller than the case-liner-thing.

It LOOKS in the salmon dial watch like there is a red piece of .... something front and back, but I am not sure what it is! Does anyone know/have pictures? I'm on the fence about buying parts to finish the blue watch (its dial is bubbled/flaked off but it is oddly attractive). I went to steal a pallet fork from it today (thanks to getting the wrong one in the mail on a different project, a 681 Ladies Dynamic), and noticed the big problem I thought i had (a VERY loose rotor!) ended up being that the automatic pivot wasn't tightened down, so it is MORE fixable than I thought.

So I'm currently on the fence between fixing up 1 with the dial me/my wife likes better, or trying to get greedy and get both out of 馃榾 BUT I'd like to see if it is actually an obtainable goal/part to complete this case.

I would guess it's the plastic seal that secures the crystal to the movement ring (tuna can), should be a similar one for the caseback.

Here's an example of my Gents model, construction is identical.

Ah interesting! Any tips on how to find replacement ones?

The ones for the gents models are easy to find. Well, relatively easy. The Ladies version seems to be harder to find.
You can try US parts suppliers, and also places like Cousins UK, Boley in Germany etc.

You could also PM Archer to see if he can identify the part numbers.

I held off on contacting @Archer (hopefully it is OK here? If you'd prefer a PM, I can do that too!) since I got the salmon watch in and decided to take it apart tonight.

BOTH of the red rubbery-plastic parts are a little rough, and it would be awesome to find a replacement if at all possible. Else I wonder if I could just substitute some sort of hard rubber/soft plastic and turn it on the lathe...

The movement on the salmon one is a mess, and it has a bit of a crushed crown tube, but both things I can deal with. BUT I'm likely to just use the movement from the blue one (and maybe the inner liner too?).

Anyway, hopefully I'll be able to get it back together at one point.

Thanks Archer! The 098 one looks somewhat available (a white one instead of red on ebay) but the measurements are going to help. The 298 one seems like it'll be a challenge. I'll have to think on what I can do here.

Thank you again!

EDIT: For the next person along (even if its me in a bit 馃榿) : BEST I can tell is that 098 is the red gasket that goes around the crystal, 298 is the case back gasket, and 088N is the gasket that holds the mid-case in place (the midcase I'm using to refer to the part with the case tube on it).
