Try to figure out what is this Omega

Got this Omega from an online purchase, Was able to identify that the Cal 471 with 19 jewels was from 1955 based on the serial number. I was able to confirm with another reputable source that cal 471 19J was available around same time period in 19J and the 20J version came a year later or 1956.

However, I don't think the case G6250 matches with the rest? Try to best match the watch with several online resources but cannot find specific match especially for the 471 with 19J.

Not sure if anyone else can share some insights on legitimate of this Omega. Thanks.

One more key detail on this one. The crown is not signed either but then I read that unsigned crown was not that unusual from that mid 50s period. Perhaps I am mis-informed.

Is the balance bridge marked OXG?

I dont believe this is a Normal Morris import version b/c on the dial i can see the Swiss Made text below the 6. It was tough to take that picture b/c of curvature of the glass.

Am i correct in thinking that the case may correct for this piece as G6250 with cal 471 19J from 1955? There is no evidence of any strange other than the unsigned crown.

I think the movement is a transplant from another watch. The L&K case, no OXG on the movement and SWISS MADE dial point in this direction.

It all seems correct for a US Import, except for a missing OXG on the balance and Swiss Made.
I agree with @X350 XJR that it's probably a transplant and we will never know why.

I concur that the case is definitely off. The movement 471 with 19J and dial were likely together from the original case and was transplanted to G6250. I was able to locate a 1955 catalog from Morris which shown the G6250 with 17J and the case design seems different.

The watch shown in the catalogue picture isn't a G6250, it has a sub-seconds hand.

19 jewels also leads me down that same path.
