1040/518 bracelet is discontinued - replacement is a 020ST3011518.

All 3rd party parts resellers have been cut off. Places like Otto Frei won't be able to order any more parts from Omega.

With the prices that they are asking for their remaining stock (lots of these places are gouging people with the stock they have left asking very high prices), for something like a bracelet you will likely get a better price from your local AD or boutique.

Cheers, Al

Thanks. I've also been looking at used ones but I have an 8" wrist and am nervous if I get a used one that it won't fit.

I knew I should have bought that 168.017 that was just up for sale, I think by CanberraOmega who had gotten it from peatnick. Every time I look at mine I just get grumpy.

I don't have a local AD or boutique, sadly. Well, not local enough, let me say.

No, Watchco as we knew it is finished.

Marcus and his wife have a bricks and mortar business in Auckland New Zealand now but it's mostly complete watches, watchmaking services, jewellery etc. and just a few spares.

Liquidating is right- complete cases and dials, which then were made into watches, some of which made their way into the Omegamania auction Antiquorum did back in 2007-08...specifically seamaster300 dive watches were very suspect as dozens of mint examples showed up, some with original blue mask on the caseback or crown.
They must have had a huge stock because I have seen their auctions for years on fleabay
