Was browsing the bay and it seems that "abouttime-ch", which was the Watchco Australia supplier emptied their account of their NOS parts. what happened to them?

AFAIK they lost their parts account an were just unloading stock, Omega isn't supplying parts houses anymore, only qualified watchmakers for use rather than resale.

I heard that too. Didnt know they would run out this fast. Looks like there wont be a supplier like this anymore for a while.

Had the same thing happen at OFrei. Ordered something and after 8 weeks was told Omega wasn't going to ship, as OFrei had gotten everything they were suppose to for the year, but then suddenly showed up

Having obtained a seamaster 300 made from NOS parts (cannot afford a real one sorry)... I had been observing the prices steadily climb on these made up versions to the point that I could probably get 50% back from what I paid for mine, already after 6 months....

Can you still buy the 300 cases? I have a very nice 565 movement that needs a home.

Cousins uk had them recently - not sure if they still do - but the prices were going up each time I looked them up
From my notes from May last year: x21910 Complete Case £845 Omega 055ST1660324
*Addendum: Just checked their site and they still have stock but the price now is £1050

theres on one seller on ebay with 10 lots of dial/hands set - for @£245 (190867275129) so if you have the movement already you can have a seamaster 300 clone for under £1500
Go for it I say as you can sell it today for £2000 easily... or enjoy it like the rest of us do... ;)

Dials/hands still available from Omega, but that might not help you much...
