Spotted this for sale recently. Seller saying nothing about the dial but wonder if anyone might chip in. Looking at the reference number the watch should have a sub dial. Any thoughts.

The most obvious explanation is that the case and or back and movement do not belong together. I'd like to see a clearer shot of the reference number.

It would be unusual for a watch with a sweep seconds hand to also have a sub dial. Would a related calibre of Omega movement ever have been produced without the sweep seconds hand, but with a subsidiary seconds hand? The 4th wheel (which might be capable of carrying a sub seconds hand) is in the right place. I don’t see such a movement listed in my reference material.

Looks like a transformed watch with a dial from a pocket watch and from an east-asian watch-maker .

You take a 125.003 case from your junk box, rummage around to find the caliber 269 to "restore" the watch.
You can't find a cal 269, but here's a cal 613! OK close enough!
Bung them together, nearly there, just need a dial. Back to the junk box.
Oooo....look, perfect size, it's an hour/minute only dial from an antique ladies pocket watch, now where are all of those antique hands?

125.003-62 seems to be the reference number.
