Good stuff! Old Colts are always appreciated. I always wanted both a SIG P210 and a Smith & Wesson Model 41.

210s and 41s are great shooters, trouble is, once you shoot them, everything else kinda pales in comparison. We should start a things that go boom thread.

Star Trek memorabilia ... I have action figures, starship models, autographs, books, comics, soundtrack CDs, uniforms, glassware, and more ... Not to mention all seasons of all series and all films.

What can I say? My dad took me to my first convention in 1976 and I've been a Trekker ever since.

I also love James Bond ... I have several early hardcover Fleming editions, and all of my old Corgi cars. The gadgets still work!
Are you a member at AJB007? Great forum - the 'OF if the James Bond world' 馃榿

I went to classes some years ago but could not get past a very bad Hang down your head Tom Dooley. Always been in admiration of those who can play musical instruments, or anyone who can do stuff with their hands. Read about a knife maker on here yesterday which Standy posted, I wish I had some practical skills.

I collect 1st edition books. I have been collecting them for 20years. Its a lot cheaper than buying watches but like collecting watches I dont do it with a view to making any money. I did pick up a first edition of Of Mice and Men for 50p which could sell for upto 600 quid but I would not sell any of my books.

I've literally (2 minutes ago) just finished Of Mice and Men. Amazing book.

It is a wondeful book. There is a film with John Malcovich in it that is also good. The book was originally designed to be adapted as a play which is why there is so much dialoug in it. The title is from a poem by the scottish poet Robert Burns. You might also like Cannery Row which is one of my other favourite Steinbeck books.

Without realising it I seem to have started a cardboard box collection.

At one time it was...

My other collection that isn't really a collection is guitars.

The only one that would be considered a collectors item is the Fender strat at the back. It's a c1988 Fujigen Japanese factory model that I've owned since new. They were better than the US models at that time & Fender stopped them being exported into the West not long after. Apparently they're sought after in unmodified original condition like this. Most were modded as a lot of people didn't like the old fashioned design of the pick ups.

No hat. No sandals (unless high heels count...)

Looks like I might have to post a better picture of it !

It's actually pretty amazing anyone spotted it, given that it's over in the corner and pretty blurry.

The majority of posters are males after all...
