I only have one of these. Too large and awkward. About 400 pounds and 10 ft tall.
And maybe most important to me: all of the large things like this, scoreboards, jukes, coke machines, vintage audio… I restored or repaired them. Even un complicated watches.

Sorry for your losses. I can’t bear thinking of all the things I no longer have. Here are a couple joes. The one I dressed as me from the 80s.

Well, I still have this fellow from 1964 or 65.

Nuts! I forgot to put the plume back into Joe's helmet! Any of you who care about these as much as Speedmasters will land on me like a ton of bricks. Sorry!

I collect old ball gloves, too, but not like your collection. I only have Wilson A2000s from the 60s to 80s. They were made in the USA from excellent leather during that time. I do have a few good catcher's gloves from my own years under the tools of ignorance. And I'm pretty sure this glove stand is actually meant to be hanging a ceiling light fixture.

Yep. Good eye. I use whatever works. Plumbing connectors with wooden dowels are my new go to. I even have one glove resting on an old nickel plated stirrup.

Plumbing connector…

And a simple shadowbox from Michael’s. I added the light.

Great displays.

How about 19th century surgeon's sets. This one is a British Army officer's set by Arnold and Sons, c 1879. I have included a shot of the amputation knives and a catlin - superb workmanship in top quality carbon steel.

These sets are not easy to find in this condition. I found this one in a little antique shop in Salamanca, Spain (how did it end up there?).

Most of these over 100 yrs old, in original paint and saw hunting action.

And this one from Civil War era 1860s

Mostly pre-war double action Colt revolvers. Not all these in the photo are pre-war but the photo does have one example of each model represented in my collection. There are also some random S&W, Winchesters, a Luger, a Schmidt Rubin, etc...

Wish I had more money and a bigger garage, so I am down to this one. My convertible 442 with factory racing cams is gone to a good friend in my 'hood so I see it all the time. Had to pass on a pristine '69 Z-28 due to garage and wife constraints.
Doesnt look like you're doing too badly from here 😀

Nothing, actually, since I'm not a collector. 😀 I just like to wear one of the best darn watches on the planet!

(Watcho Cal 552 Seamaster 300 and Speedmaster Professional cal 1861 circa 1997)

Funny, nor am I as an adult. I have coins, stamps, and a few other things like diecast model cars and GI Joe toys (as pictured above) from my childhood, many of which are valuable now, especially the gold and silver coins. I fell into vinyl record collecting almost by accident, simply by keeping and listening to them when others were giving theirs away. I've inherited art which nobody else in the family cared about and saved some antique books of historical interest (and value in a couple of cases) from the dumpster. I've never collected watches but find them fascinating and enjoy seeing and reading about all of yours.
