I’m gonna make a wild guess and say you’re quite partial to a glossy dark brown croc strap .

Great buys, those 50s connies and Longines are perfect! Still need to add a Connie to my collection! 😀

A 2754 Genéve

A 2982 Genéve

Seamaster 300 watchco

Flightmaster 145.013

Constellation Deluxe 14382
This is also the first Connie in my collection.

I bought this early 2020..
Blue planet ocean 215.30.44.21.03.001

And this for the summer that never came
Seiko MM SBBN035

I really wanted the new speedy snoopy. But for that hefty price tag and no bracelet, I will pass.

Only three this year. The two GMTs are from original owners and the Movado is from a beneficent collector. Not a bad haul, though still glad the year is over. Here is to a vaccinated 2021.

It's only my 2nd Year in 'collecting' so I guess it does show in the variety of my choices compared to some of you with much more focus 😀
It should come with some more experience... or not 😉
5 of those are coming from fellow members of OF, so thanks to them & to those who make this forum such a nice place !

Here is what I got this year :

Chronos :
- Zenith El Primero 01.0210.415

- Omega Seamaster 145.018

- Omega Speedmaster FOIS (the only 'new' one)

2 skin divers :
- Aurore

- Silvana

Small ones from 40s/50s I like a lot :
- UG Outdoorsman

- Longines Sei Tacche

Some classic ones from 50s/60s
- Eterna Matic (linen dial not visible on this poor picture)

- Lemania 3000

- Grand Seiko 5722-9990

And one Tissot Bullseye I have not yet taken a picture of.

Most (if not all) should remain with me except if I run short of money 😀
2021 should (must) be a consolidation year as I need to start enjoying the rotation. Plus I have the ZEP and a croton CASD to get back from my watchmaker.

All the best for this new year to all of you !

My collection changed quite a bit. I spent some money on these two inexpensive (but fun!) curiosities:
Memosail.jpg

Dugena-1.jpg

Then got a little more serious:
Seamaster-Outdoors.jpg

However, I also gave watches from my collection to my sister (Tag Monaco) and son (Maen Hudson) and sold a Seiko field compass/watch and a Squale "root beer." Does this mean I can buy another watch, since technically I'm down one? 🙄

I finally had the chance to add a Seamaster Planet Ocean to my collection! I have wanted one for so long but was unable to pull the trigger. On the topic of 2020 additions, I recently came across a super interesting article about the various luxury watch trends of 2020. Unsurprisingly (to me at least as they're my favorite), the Seamaster collection was OMEGA's best selling this year. Here's the article if you guys want to check it out: https://www.bobswatches.com/rolex-blog/resources/top-luxury-watches-trends-2020.html

"It is always interesting to see what trends we notice as we look at the sales data each year. Some things stay remarkably consistent from one year to the next – for example we generally expect Rolex watches to be among our top sellers, but we also noticed a consistent rising popularity in Omega watches, along with some interesting trends about the different brands and types of watches that experience different levels of popularity in different regions. So, what are the top luxury watches of 2020?"

Very interesting and informative!

I was thinking about finding a Seamaster 14755 to add to the 165.024 bought earlier in 2020 - and then one popped up on the forum with production date being my exact birth date - couldn't say no...
