It's been a busy year for me!
2 out 3 in

Full set seiko 7C46 6010

Seiko 6306 7001

Omega speedmaster 145.022-69 very sharp case with lovely dial. Only thing is it have a service bezel which I will replace it with a tall TACHY DNN bezel since I could not afford a DON bezel.

That'll be about it, I think, it might still change if Snoopy comes early. 馃槜

It did change. A bit faster than planned. Oops.

Added:

- Rising Sun

That I鈥檒l be it for this year. 馃榾

I thought it was a year of selling watches but it turns out that a few still made their way in!

Well, I sold more than I acquired this year, but for a good reason you'll see below. First, the additions in 2020 were:

1. 1968 "Transitional"Speedmaster. Bought off Craigslist at a McDonalds 馃榿 After some TLC thanks to Adam Lewis, its a nice little pickup and I'm embarassed to admit, I got it for $2700. It came with a 1039/516 bracelet that had 50 years of accumulated crude that I had to painstakingly disassemble and clean (yuck). Pictured here on a Forstner.

2. 41mm Aqua Terra - picked up as part of a multi-watch + cash trade with another member here. Not something I would have gone out and purchased, but rather than flipping right away decided to hold onto it and see if it grows on me.

3. Last watch acquisition, but not least, the 2nd watch of the multi-watch trade.... unworn Tokyo Olympics Rising Sun. I'd been lusting after this one since it was announced, when offered, I couldn't say no.

4. Some may have noticed I thinned out the collection this year, a few sales were made here on OF, plus several more via private communication (6 sold in total)... all in the pursuit of acquiring this Supra SA 450 wakesurfing boat:

Although I parted with a couple of pieces, my small collection grew this year, in both senses: Total amount and diameter.

A pair of jumbo Connies joined the club

And a pair of 36mm Seamasters

And some extravagant lugs, 38 & 36mm

And two Chronos, which also marks the entry of my first non-Omega in the collection. Oh, the betrayal!

There is a little more, currently at my watchmaker鈥檚. We became very close this year. ::facepalm1::

Cashed in on the Tudor/Rolex/Ming hype...

Picked these up...

That Glashutte is rather nice, the best of a pretty damn good quartet IMHO.

@Zapatta Thank you. 馃榾 Yes, it鈥檚 a 2713-1, 80 microns:

I found only one other example here in the forum and nothing on eBay / C24, which is a shame. The 38mm make the lugs and the structured dial pop really nicely and I鈥檓 curious about other dial variations.

/edit: After I wrote this I checked again and indeed found one more on C24

2712 is the same style in 35mm. This 2713 has a full 38mm without crown. Here鈥檚 a movement picture from the watchmaker, if you鈥檇 like more detailed shots feel free to drop me a message. 馃榾
