I just blazed through the Neapolitan Novels by Elena Ferrante. Seriously phenomenal, can’t wait for the HBO show.

I also have been working through The Book of Disquiet by Fernando Pessoa, which is quite a trippy yet mellow experience.

Next on my list is probably some other Ursula LeGuin books (I’d just finished The Dispossessed and The Left Hand of Darkness), or finishing In Search of Lost Time, depending on what I’m feeling.

Interesting you find Book of Disquiet mellow. For me anything but….

Caught author on History Unplugged podcast a few moths ago, put a hold on at library and got about halfway thru.

then I remembered I don’t like prison stories, even if it’s POW’s. . .

Currently on holiday and reading this, it's quite fabulous.

Also picked up the omega designs book and a Longines reference book at a 2nd hand book store near where we're staying. Been a fabulous horology related holiday so far.

Currently reading a book about a Korean War pilot. Is extra special because he grew up in and around the small town where we now live and his tale interweaves his childhood experiences with his wartime experiences. Provides a good glimpse of the community and its people back in the day.

About 3/4 through this book that recounts the role of the RAF Tornado combat aircraft during the first Gulf War. Really good
