My favorite subject... time pieces in (military) aviation & manned spaceflight ... not to be confused with large compass pieces

I just finished Cormac McCarthy's Child of God. Even by his standards it is pretty bleak with a truly deranged bad guy. Beautifully written, though.

I finished an Inspector Rebus book by Ian Rankin. I have read about 20 of them now. Currently reading a history book about daily life of everyday people in Georgian London called Hustlers, Harlots and Heroes.

The Reacher series for the umpteenth time. No, I do not watch the show, or any TV for that matter.

Just recently on vacation and browsing the books on the shelf at the little place we stayed, I had a couple hours of down time due to heavy rain and picked up Richard Bode - First You Have to Row a Little Boat. Super quick read, but I found it thoroughly enjoyable.

Space!
I'm pretty sure I've read that, but I reserved it from the library just in case. I read so many books that it's hard to keep track, and the app doesn't always track my reading history.

I really enjoyed it. Read it in about four hours at one of my treatments. Couldn't put it down.

I actually read this one almost a year ago now, but as I’m just hoping into this thread for the first time I figured I’d share, it’s definitely been by favourite of the spy genre in quite a while…highly recommend.

It's not a book, but a movie based on a great book that I definitely recommend.

You have a better part of a year to read it before the scheduled release.

Just finished reading "The chimp paradox" by Steve Peters, i really like the personal growth subject and this book was really helpful.
It analyses probably things we already know exist in our brain, but giving them a names and analysing the links amongst them helps linking dots about things we already know, but can't really understand
