Missing Greece

Looks like they don't skimp on the Feta on your Greek salad, eh?

I was supposed to cook swordfish steaks, fancy oven potatoes and salad last night. But when my wife gave me lip over my cooking this was on the menu; spam and powder mashed potatoes!

"Shall I open a bottle of vine? Nah beer is better for this meal"

That said the Idahoan mash is great, but spam is as salty as the Pacific.

Can’t say we ever had a bad Greek salad, and olive oil or Feta was never skimped on like often in Australia 😉

Pizza, pizza😁
That is quite an operation you've got there, and those look fantastic. Have you ever tried cracking a few eggs on top while they're baking? It's not for everyone, but my wife and I really like it.

Thank you, I love it, something cave man about cooking with fire😁
We do crack on an egg on occasion, my wife is a big fan of that.

Found this gem on Norwegian cuisine.

The first is sheepshead, salted and smoked then steamed. Next dish is fermented fish, poisonous if done wrong. Last salted and dryed cod, watered in lye and steamed. (Popular) Christmas dishes. True story.

Local shrimp, dropped up by a friend who caught them no more than a mile from my house, pain in ass to peel but so worth it in the end, had to beat the cat off.
simple shrimp salad with Marie Rose sauce on wholemeal brown bread

Been cooking since I was a child -- worked in the culinary arts as a teen into my 20's before veering off into tech and my businesses... Being a grown man, and being able to cook, bake, make, absolutely anything and everything, is a flex I didn't see coming later in life.

Early dinner since I messed up my timing.
Brisket tacos with grilled corn and a homemade chipotle crema.
