Well...I think it does...but that's just me. Reminds me of way-back-when in the late 1960s and early 1970s when my mom would prepare both Kraft Mac & Cheese and Spam for dinner...the aroma of cooked Spam would saturate the house for two days...the entire evolution was (and still is) "fantabulous" in my book.
Spam fritters, takes me back to my childhood and I just have to try them again or will it ruin the memory after sixty years
No joke, there's even an Australian importer that brings in the President's Choice stuff. It's the crack cocaine of pasta meals: http://ocanada.com.au/shop/pc-white-cheddar-macaroni-cheese-225g.html
Prep done on a whole scotch fillet, heap of steaks and always leave a roast at the end. Ribeye roast wrapped in blanched lemongrass, touch of sesame oil 1kg = 15min on 220degC and 75min on 120degC
Tonight there will be turkey breast, potatoes and some fresh salad..... I asked my wife if there will be something magically too...! She replied I shall have a look at the mushrooms !!! View attachment 337624 No magic ones! But the turkey breast got a magic size
So it's been four months without a kitchen whilst the tradesmen have been ripping the house apart, and I come across this thread!! You guys are bang out of order! Not happy
I wonder if anyone outside of Germany knows what this stuff is? Tastes great....looks like puke. A real test of courage.
Had tomato bisque, chicken with gravy mushroom sauce, roasted Brussel sprouts and pasta for Vday special !
Did some chicken wings on the Primo XL tonight. Indirect at 400F for 1 hr 45 min with our homemade dry rub and some pecan wood. Best wings I've ever had.
The snow started falling before Primo could get covered the other night. Made the start up a little more interesting tonight. But still managed to cook some tasty lamb chops.
I made some candy bacon lately. After letting it rest for 2 days in the fridge it will be sliced for dinner today. ( could not resist to try a little sample ) Cheers Thomas
The wife unit is out of town...the clock in the pocket [Illinois Bunn Special Sixty Hour] says it's time for Kraft Mac & Cheese and Spam Lite...and Dunkin' Donuts coffee for dinner tonight.
