My German car - only used on special days and watch meets!
Nice, I am involved with a restoration on one right now.

Mine was sold new to a brain surgeon in San Diego. USA in 1965 and I bought it from him a number of years ago and brought it to the UK, it can be a bit of a problem when anything goes wrong as it is over engineered, but still drives very well for its age. It was the 23rd one built.

If I had a second garage bay, I'd have one of these.
I had one of those back in the day. Finest car I ever owned. All 9 mpg.

My father had one from 1983-1986. He got rid of it a WEEK before I got my driving permit and replaced it with a tiny Nissan Pulsar. I was so upset.

He kept one of the emblems though, and I have it now, along with his other car memorabilia. I'm so glad to have the owner's manuals. I have the hood ornament from his '64 Continental too.

Very nice indeed. Series 1? I thought they were sold as the XK-E over there, or was that just the US?

One must be secure in his own manhood to drive a cute ute. With carseats. 😎

If that's a V6, it ain't gonna be so cute when you mat the pedal. In college I worked at a Toyota / VW dealer when these were new and we had a ton of fun using them as lot cars. Imagine our excitement when they introduced the 5.7 Tundra - it was the fastest thing on our lot, Mk5 VW GTIs included 😁

Behold the majesty 😉

248HP V-6 with leather seating for 8. My other car is in the background - it's a Mazda CX-5 GT.
