·One of three, and the only one i have a picture of. Not a daily driver. It is 39 years old this year, and it sits in a heated garage from November to April. I will soon license it again, and the fun begins! Not too many will recognize it as it is a scarce car. We've had it since new. Lotsa bucks spent on it in the last 22 years. So many watches i coulda had!

You're right...they're pretty scarce these days...I saw an Eagle on the road about two weeks ago near our house...and that was the only one I've seen on the road in probably 10 to 20 years. All the AMCs have such a different look (imho)...I can see them coming a mile away. 👍
EDIT CHANGE: I changed my mind...it's an AMC Concord...not an Eagle! DOH! 😵💫

You're right the second time! Concord. After AMC was bought out by Renault, the death knell came for Concord. 1983 was the last year for Concord, and the first for the Eagle which was basically a 4-wheel drive Concord. AMC unwittingly must have seen where the future was......in 4-wheel or all wheel drive cars. Mine is a 2-wheel drive fastback, and it is one of 2,500 of the fastback built in 1978. For a company that got so much right, unfortunately, they got too much wrong! AMC almost scooped Ford with a pony car of their own. The XR 400, built by Budd, on an AMC chassis with AMC running gear. That was in 1963. But AMC didn't buy the deal! The prototype still exists.

Actually, I don't have 3 AMCs. Beside the Concord, I also have a 2007 Pontiac Montana, and a 2014 Chev Silverado.

·Archive photo of the only motor I still own, I’ve had it for 25 years. Sadly it stayed at my parent’s when I moved to CA so it’s been sitting for a while. I thought it was old back then, now it’s younger than any of my watches 😀
