What are the chances this is a repainted dial?

Hey everyone, you opinions are greatly appreciated.
I asked the seller, he says it is the original unrestored dial. Given its age (1968) I am having trouble believing it. s-l1600.jpg

Is it possible for a watch this old to have a dial this flawless?

Thanks for your input!

Yes, it is possible, though I have no opinion on this specific dial.

Based on that one low res picture I'd say it was original..............or maybe a redial, who knows.

There are many watches of that age, and older, with very good dials, some indeed flawless (but less of them).

Its original. The way you look at refinished dials are if the print is in 2D instead of embosed 3D. thats the first tale tale sign that the dial was refinished.
