How do I remove paint off a repainted dial?

Hello everyone, I recently purchased an old Omega CO2063 26.5 Cal. SOB T2 and the previous owner repainted the dial but got the logo and the 9 index wrong. I was wondering how it would be possible to remove the paint they put on there while still protecting the dial. It’s a very glossy somewhat thick black paint.

let me know how this may be possible, any tips on then repainting it, and if you have any information on the watch feel free to send it! Thanks.

Josh

Just repaint over it entirely. No reason to remove anything.

I suspect that you have NO idea what you are suggesting! If you were under the impression that the original dial exists beneath the layer you are contemplating removing, I suspect you will be in for a surprise! But if you are bound to try it, this product should do it. I DO NOT recommend the product, nor do I recommend that you try it!

What everyone is trying to tell you is that the damage has already been done. The dial was wiped clean in order to put that XI on the IX spot. Find a qualified dial restoration company and send it off for a "do-over".
