Hi all. a serious question; I have a Seamaster 300MC. LOVE it! I also ride a Harley (which vibrates like crazy). Will it damage the movement wearing while riding? thanks
In addition to the responses you get here, there are some good existing threads on this topic. https://omegaforums.net/threads/motorcycle-vibration.95528/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/vintage-watch-on-a-motorcycle.36992/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/dont-wear-a-watch-while-you.47047/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/motorcycle-riding-and-watches.58067/ https://omegaforums.net/threads/motorcycles.75004/
Ah, thank you Dan. I’m about to read up. HA! I must be getting old and senile, I asked the SAME question last riding season Lol!! Sorry all.
I had a Seamaster deville from the 1960s which was my daily wearer for over a decade (A real one watch life), and I rode an early 1960s Vespa all over LA, and never had any trouble at all.
I wear my speedmaster mk 2 while on my heritage. I have it on a rubber strap. The heritage is counter balanced, it shakes very little.
