My Suunto Ambit can handle the shock and vibration but any mechanical watch will have and expedited trip to the watchmaker / service center. Cheers!
OK, tell us (I hope it isn't an expensive lesson). But first, fix the symmetry of your photo. Move red bike back one tire width and align the camera lens along the join in the concrete driveway.
In the late 90's I wore my Seamaster whilst riding my scooter and the vibration made my Seamaster die. Overhaul by Ben Bridge was complementary (probably saved a few hundo). Sorry for the poor photo skills.

Wearing a watch while dueling with a longsword is not advisable, either. Besides in bed and the shower, it's the only moment I don't wear one. By the way, the following video does not contain images of watches being destroyed. It's just a small NY Times item on why people are dueling with longswords at all
So a Seamaster can't handle a scooter ride, but a Speedmaster can handle a ride to space? I don't buy it.
350,000km on bikes, always wearing a watch, these days usually vintage piece 50 to 140 years old as I own almost nothing "new". Include dirt bikes, supersports, cafe racers, scooters, tourers, several crashes (on and off road), and a few collisions with cars: never had a problem with a watch as a result. I do walk a bit funny old cold damp days though.......
I like this forum! Now that you mention it, there was a some road rash (to my watch) back in 1997. I thought it would be a good idea to wear my Omega under my leathers during a New Riders Clinic at Bremerton Speedway. Long story short, I ate sh.it and woke up in the hospital with a concussion, seperated shoulder and damage to my Seamaster. d'oh! My buddy was like, WTF were you thinking? Were your gonna check the time in the middle of your race??! First lesson learned..
