Bottom right of the PDF says July 2013.... But I too remember a webpage with icons and an explanation saying "Shower, Swimming" etc, and it wasn't that long ago that I saw it. That PDF is linked out of their FAQ.

Speedy Pro at 50m... well, maybe it's like the guy who once test-drove my brothers MX-5 when he was selling it, instead of slowing down for a violent speed hump, he drove over it going above the posted speed limit. When my brother asked WTF was he doing, his response was "the car should be able to do that".

Of course it can, but it doesn't mean you should do it... (especially in someone else's car).

Yes I saw the July 2013 date afterward and it made me feel quite old as it only seemed like yesterday that I last saw the previous chart.
Even though it was only 7 years or so now, but I had totally missed the revised "Omega" definition of what's applicable.
Time flies when you're having fun I suppose.

I wonder if Omega will cover the watch for water resistance under warranty if it's well maintained and shows no sign of damage if one decides to go shallow scuba diving with a Speedy Pro and it springs a leak👎

I have always lived by the adage- if you have to ask, you can’t afford it.
Same goes with water resistance with watches in my mind- if I have to ask, grab a Seiko

There's some merit in that line of thinking👍

My new Seiko said don't even run it under the faucet! 😁

And I should revise- if I have to ask...others may do as they please.
I am not a risk taker, my retirement portfolio is in “safe” funds, I signal when changing lanes and always know my blind spots (although I do speed like a Mo-fo). But I own too many vintage pieces that I value to be cavalier about it.
We can argue the specs and bullshit like this until all of us are blue in the face- even if a watch is rated at a certain depth rating with factory fresh conditions (cough-Speedmaster-cough), use common sense- these weren’t meant for water- even though the astronauts did it. 🙄
As was once said in another thread long ago, watches like Speedy’s and GMT were meant for racing or flight- and if a car or plane are in the water, the driver/pilot have far greater concerns than depth rating.

Yup, mine too, though I wish it were a Grand Seiko!

I do find it interesting that Lange says "...jumping into the water (no high diving)."

Perhaps they've been keeping the dynamic pressure genie in the bottle?

I think it's more of an issue of them not wanting your watch to be ripped off your wrist, taking some skin with it.

They're not very consistent, because I'm currently reading the instruction leaflet on my new Citizen diver, rated at 200M, which specifically clears it for scuba diving. What model are they advising can only be used for snorkelling?

One from 20+ years ago but then my memory could be wrong. Probably is 😀 I recall thinking, "200m is loads, why can't I scuba dive with this? What rating do I need then Citizen?"

Or they just changed in 20 years, which is more likely. In case it is interesting, here is the guidance from my Fugu (2019):
