·Just place the expensive watch immediately after purchase…. Into a glass case and look at it.
No scratches will happen, problem has been solved.

Do not do this please. Instead, learn how to keep your left arm out of harms way at all times. It becomes second nature. And don’t believe the people either who will tell you that big scratches and dings add character. That’s not true either. But with proper care your watch will be fine for decades.
I can't tell if this is serious or sarcasm. I have one delicate vintage watch that I generally only wear around the house. I got in the habit of hiding my arm behind my back when going through doorways because I'm so paranoid of knocking it. Or I just take it off when I leave my desk. Not how I want to go through my daily life. Modern tool watches are robust so you can live your life without always worrying about a silly watch. Sure, I'm not going to intentionally thrash an expensive watch but at the end of the day it's just a watch. You enjoy it and then you die. No worries.

I was dead serious. My Speedy reduced was my one and only watch for about thirty years and on my wrist basically everyday and at all times. It still is in great condition (a few hesalite crystal replacements during regular services of course).
You learn how to not bang into things with your wrist.
Hi guys,
Recently bought a 41mm Aqua Terra. I have seen clear film to protect watches, but can't find any for the aqua terra, which was odd because I thought it was one of Omega's main lines.
If anyone could point me in the direction of a company that sells protective films, or has methods of protecting shiny bracelets from scratches, I would be very grateful.
Here's a manufacturer that expects their watches to be worn....
.... each new watch comes with a tube of Polywatch 👍

I'm thinking about getting a GMT and I like the cut of their jib. Dunno if they're available in the UK though.
They will ship to UK but you will have to pay postage and then vat on arrival
Great question, I used to lose sleep thinking about damaging my watch case and crystal while I motorcycle, swim, and shower with my watch on, and heaven forbid my cotton dress shirt sleeve brushes against the 316L stainless steel (polished by the way) case and cause micro scratches. Thus my solution:
Can you explain what you are looking for exactly? Usually protective film is applied by the manufacturer, but removed by the owner before wearing the watch. Are you planning to apply protective film to the watch and bracelet and then wear the watch? I've never heard of that, although my grandmother did have plastic covers for the cushions on her sofa. 😕
Or are you looking to apply protective film to make the watch look new before selling it?
