With the unsigned dial, have you or the former owner had a look at the movement? Which manufacturer supplied the "stealth" dial and for what purpose? Interesting...

I have a sterile fab four, originally a Hamilton marked dial I assume, issued in 71 this was a non lume watch, subsequently changed to tritium dial and hands hence the double strike on the back and code change. The bridge is marked Hamilton too.

Mine is Hamilton and my guess is original dial has been swapped by the M.o.D due to deterioration (moisture mainly)

Thanks gents for the feedback. MoD did swap dials with some regularity, esp. due to radium. Beautiful pieces!!

It’s an Hamilton if you open but I am not sure why it was replaced. I have a Hamilton which could be the reason this was replaced.

Very nice. I always wanted to pick one up but prices have gotten too far ahead of me now....
