Interesting piece on my wrist today. Seiko Gen 2 7T27 without lume; much discussion on the MWR re: was it issued or not? Other sources say similar pieces issued to Sub sailors. Happy to hear if anyone has any other information

I can only elaborate the following that I have 0270/94 (etched not stamped) #serial dating Jan 1994?
