Really love this watch. Almost purchased a similar from a watchmaker in Chicago. Read mixed reviews from them on the forums and thus decided to pass.
I keep wondering why Omega doesn't have a military watch like this anymore. IWC, Patek, Alpina and a few others have comparable models. They could too. It's part of their heritage.
Anyone know if Omega has one like this planned soon?

·I can't make my mind up on this one, an IWC dirty dozen that went through a full factory service back in 2014. I have two project builds of the original versions which are just waiting for crowns and perhaps one more donor cal. 83. They will both be pretty "characterful" when finished as they have had hard lives, whereas this could almost be new and the lume is as bright as anything.
What do you guys reckon ? Perhaps there is some love for these here ? I think over on MWR it would get a hard time...
