Hello my fellow military watch enthusiasts! Hoping someone might be able to answer this for me. The back of the case back of the CK2292 watches that are engraved with 6B/159 or H.S ^8 - there is also 3 or 4 numbers below, I’ve seen many different ones 3072, 8494 ect ect. What do the latter numbers correspond to? Is that a squadron number or an issuing number? Photo below for reference (from another user, thank you!) Thank you
1970, Hamilton, FAPD 5101 or Type 1 Navigator issued to USA for only one month. Love the 36mm size on this one. The Caliber 684, like the Caliber 89 used in the IWC Mark XI, is shielded by an anti-magnetic dust cover.
My latest purchase, my 1943 Omega Pilots watch! H.S ^8 3072 denoted on the case back as it was an issued navigators watch in WW2. Some additional info below for those interested! Cheers
