First generation Breguet Type 20, Valjoux 222 "retour en vol", issued to the French Ministère de l'Air in the mid-50s (my example issued in '55). Unsigned dial & movement, only marked on the caseback - which over nearly 30 years of service is now nearly filled with FG service marks. Don't have a movement shot handy.

'New' Smiths for the evening,
Almost pulled the trigger on one this week from the TimeFactors website... I'm in that terrible place right now with this watch where there's some rationality still left in my head, speaking loudly. ["Hey... Shut up, brain! I want it!!"] 😉 I actually really appreciate that they have a set window to purchase; gives me a weekly cool-down. Not so good for their business, but best for my wallet.

Great stuff, all. Wearing this one today, with the EI marked caseback. Took the stretch bracelet off as it is a bit loose for me, but cool to have it.

I could lead you astray by telling you how comfortable it is on the wrist and camera shots do not do it justice etc. etc. 😀
