Here's another LeCoultre. This rectangular model was made only in 1949 to honor Jacques-David LeCoultre who had died in 1948 (info is from Zaf Basha's excellent book).

Extraordinary piece

New addition and first moonphase for me. Gold plated Le Phare with a Valjoux 90 movement. Quite pleasing to the eye 😀

Those two JLCs are amazing pieces.... and the second one is beyond belief.
Thanks everyone for sharing all of those!

A watch I've owned for over 30 years, a 1951 Gubelin triple date. I bought it at Gubelin in Luzern, Switzerland after their master watchmaker completely overhauled it. The dial was refinished but they had the stamp to replicate the date track. It's in an all 18k gold case which is somewhat rare as most had steel backs. It has the Felsa Bydinator movement.

The next watch is a Vacheron Constantin Toledo which is a re-edition of their classic 1952 version which was huge for that era. 18k white gold with JLC based movement.

And last is an 18k pink gold JLC with original dial.

And all three have classic solid backs.

That VC is sweet. Thanks for showing it
