Lemania made the chronograph movements in the early Speedmasters, then Omega bought Lemania. And many of us already do value the "other" brands, just check out the WRUW thread!馃榾
Yes I know. In the 1930ies and 40ies, Omega, Tissot and Lemania were the same. That's why I call them Lemania movements.
Concerning the valuation: I meant in terms of prices 馃槈

Bought two : a 1945 original and battered with wrong caseback (mismatch with s/n on movement) and a 1939 one with a dial redone. But happy as I paid less than 1K per watch.

Got a picture of the inside caseback and movement? The caseback number might be a reference number.

@Jpr As @Vitezi suggests inside caseback would be nice and well we all like to see a chrono movement. 馃榾
I don't know when it comes to the Tissot's how they did their refs. IMHO for Omega its a ref is for the whole watch. Whilst Lemania's used it as case ref only.

Does anyone know if replacement dials for the Tissot 6216 can be obtained? This is a 3 register...

The last 6216 reference rolled off the assembly line circa 1947. Finding a replacement in reasonable shape is, as you might imagine, exceedingly difficult.

Good point... This one looks to have been "refinished" and painted poorly. Hands aren't 100% either, but the movement and case are solid. Might see if the dial can be refinished.
