Up for sale is a vintage sports chronograph from Tissot with the caliber 1277 from Lemania. Sized at 36 mm this stunner sports a good amount of nice creamy even patina on the hands and dial. Movement is in good working condition and the chronograph resets to zero, but no record of previous service history, though my guess is that some polishing has been done to the case. The watch bears the reference 40508-2X and the Lemania 1277 dates the watch to 1969, as this was the only year Lemania exclusively produced the caliber 1277. Let me see what more is there to say... Oh yes, a bonus: the watch is attached an original Tissot stainless steel bracelet produced by the, back then, bracelet expert Guy Freres. It shows a Tissot clasp with 'GF' and 'Tissot' stamped into it. Watch and bracelets measures 20-21 cm from one to the other, end links stamped '558'. Also if you are looking for a vintage chronograph with the infamous 'dot over ninety' tachymeter bezel, you are in luck Please look closely at the photos as they would aid you to what condition this watch is in, and if you need more just let me know.
