Laugh all you want. Anyone care to guess what this "caterpillar breath" sold for a while back?

For just the bracelet?? $2500??

Comes on a flat link speedy bracelet which is cool though the price is still a bit high considering no end links...

But much more importantly, GENUINE CATERPILLAR BREATH!

I have no idea what that is but what a brilliant thing for a watch to have, who here's been breathed on by a caterpillar?

Does it have the correct model numbers for the Speedmasters on the clasp? Many of them often don't even though they look just the same.

@TNTwatch, are you trying to trick me?? We both know breath 7077 did not have the reference number printed on the buckle, only the date of production.

I once purchased a 7077 from an online seller who described the bracelet as a "359" 😀.

True but this caterpillar breath has a modern Omega logo on the clasp, hence is likely a 1035, which fits the Seamaster 600 era, they're still a nice bracelet but not anywhere near that nice, if it were a 7077 I'd be breathing this caterpillar myself rather than sharing it 😉

AH! So in Japan that's actually called a caterpillar bracelet? I can kind of see it now, and breath was a typo. Its so cool having someone who's a native speaker over there to explain it thanks mate now the mystery is solved 😀

Autocorrect often changes "Breitling" to "breathing" so it's not too much of a stretch.

However, I can see caterpillar breath becoming part of the lingo here.

IMHO at that price the listing is for the bracelet with the watch thrown in.

And talking of 7077 deals, a while back I bought this non running, water damaged, rusted up old Seamaster and `broken` bracelet for a very friendly parts price 😀

But like most things vintage these kind of flat link deals are getting more and more difficult to find, I used to pick up one or two bargain buys a year, now it´s more like one buy every two or three years if I´m lucky
