Recently picked up a Seamaster 1000 that I am in the process of servicing and I have a few questions hoping that someone is familiar with this model.
1. Reversing Wheel for Cal 1012. Does no appear serviceable so what is the lubrication procedure? Is it Lubeta?
2. What is the part number for the Crown? I can’t find it online. (Case number is 166.093)
Also, there was a small spacer seated in the case tube. See pic. What is its purpose?
3. Dial Ring. Is the one that came with my watch correct? See pic below. Unlike the one for the Ploprof which has a beveled edge that compresses the gasket, this has a simple step that the o-ring sits on, and the crystal on top of that. Which doesn’t seem like a particularly secure sealing mechanism. Which is why I’m asking.
