·Can you show the pattern you're referring to? Eterna crystals had the five ball bearing pattern. You can see it pretty clearly here.

·Thanks Dan. If you look at the upper photo of the watch face you can see the lines of the diamond pattern on the underside of the crystal. I can’t see any other markings.
B BumperJBHello watch enthusiasts. I’ve added this new (to me) Eterna Matic 1000 which I’ve dated to circa 1967. It has a stainless steel case with gold bezel. It’s stamped five star on the back. It has an unusual diamond pattern on the underside of the crystal. I’ve never seen that before and wonder if it’s original? Other than that the watch appears to be all original. What are the groups thoughts?

·OH! Sorry, I was looking at the wrong things. It looks like a shadow. Is it a faceted crystal?
