Hello! I am newbie when it comes to vintage watches. I have recently picked up vintage Seamaster Turler. I would like to know if the watch is genuine. The watch runs pretty good and within 5 seconds a day. Here are the pictures. Can somebody tell me more about the movement and if the dial is original. Thank you!

Hello!

The watch and dial look legit. The crown appears to be a replacement.

The watch reference number is stamped into the inside of the caseback. Searching by this number will let you know all the facts about this watch.

Great looking dial. Has a signed crystal, too. Nice. But I'm also a newb so...

That is a great looking watch! Hopefully you can get the help you need here—but I will say I do agree with the other members that it looks legit and like @johny_i said, having a signed crystal is cool too.

Do you mind me asking what you paid for it? No worries sharing if you’re uncomfortable!

The lume is maybe a bit too fresh?
And lots of things to be carefully examined.
Sunburst effect looks too strong
It may need a T next to Swiss Made if serial # is 21 mil and higher.
Also, Seamaster look a bit different from original .

I traded one of my modern automatic watches for this watch. I guess the money invested in this watch was around $750. I wanted to have vintage watch in my collection and heard also that Turler sign can add to a value of the watch as well.

When it comes to a serial number, will have to take it to my jeweler to have it opened so will let you know.

So, any news? 😀

Turler has nothing to do with the watch itself, it's just the store from where it was purchased. I have a Tissot with a turler marked dial. Don't know if that adds or detracts from the value.
