Vintage Omega Seamaster bracelet confusion

Hello all,

I'm having a bit of a mare trying to source a bracelet for a 1972 F300Hz 198.001 cal.1250 Seamaster Chronometer Tuning Fork Watch. Everywhere I look I get a different bracelet and different end links. Please could someone tell me definitively which bracelet and end links would have been the OEM fit back in 1972. It probably won't add the value to the watch if I did buy one. They're more expensive than the watch, but you never know, might find a hidden bargain somewhere.

I've found:
1125 with 617 end links
1069 with 524 end links
1098 with 540 end links
1067 with 532 end links
and so on.

If there is a definitive answer could someone let me know.

Many thanks

Yours in confusion

From the list of bracelet refs:

So you actually even missed one. There’s multiple examples of watches that came with more than one OEM bracelet option. No such thing as “one OEM fit”, I’m afraid.

Thanks MtV, I suppose the real important bit is finding the 19mm end links that fit the case perfectly.

The list above gives you not only the bracelet ref, but also the corresponding endlinks that’ll fit your case.
