I’d appreciate some help identifying whether the case back on my vintage Omega Seamaster is original to the watch The watch is powered by the Caliber 501 movement, but I’m having trouble determining if the case back is correct for this reference. I’ve looked through various resources but haven’t been able to find a definitive answer.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to help. I really appreciate the knowledge and experience of the members here.

I see nothing amiss. What makes you think it’s not original?

It’s not that I don’t think it’s original, but I couldn’t find the Reference on Omega’s website, which has vintage watch database, I know that the database doesn’t contain every watch that Omega released, but I just wanted to know more about my watches reference number

Google is your friend. Search for “Omega Watch 14736” and you will see several examples. All have the cal. 491 or 501 movements like yours.

Hope this helps,
